This week it’s all about the money as the team looked into Generation Y and the workforce. We considered the reality many Gen Y students face – unemployment after Uni. Whilst Will took a look into the world of drug dealing, uncovering the extent some people will go to make money. Gen Y uncovers it all.

One of the weeks presenters, Tom H, introduced our listeners to some helpful things that the fabulous virtual world has to offer, while the ever popular Prude Police uncovered myths to do with Generation Y’s frivolous spending habit’s and their supposed poor work ethic.

This week hit on some hard issues but lightened it up with great tunes and hilarious presenters, Tom H & Alex. Roxy kept everyone in line as this week’s producer & Jess tackled the on-air panel for the first time.

This week on Y we looked at the fallout from the South Australian 2010 Election. Jessie and Jess travelled around the various election parties securing the very first media interview with Australia’s youngest ever elected politician, Kelly Vincent from Dignity for Disability.

Simon explored political activism and its effect on Gen Y while Bill and Tom sought to challenge the negative perceptions surrounding Gen Y’s work ethic.

We also dabbled a little bit in student welfare and took a surprising look into the equality of Youth Allowance for Gen Y’ers and finally gave a quick wrap up of what was Mad March here in Adelaide.

For this, and much much more (as always) tune into Radio Adelaide 101.5 Wednesdays!
